Thanks to additional funding secured through the Coalfields Regeneration Trust we have been able to appoint Vicky, a trained counsellor to work with young people and their families across the Rawmarsh community offering counselling and mediation. Vicky is a highly trained specialist worker who has nine years experience offering such support in schools. She acts as a ‘trusted’ adult to young people and can offer a vital link between school, home, family and young person in a way which helps to build positive relationships.
Vicky helps to make the connections and build the confidence that young people may need help with in order to achieve in their life. Vicky is based in RCS.Comm with the Community & Family Services Team and can be contacted on 01709 512858 or 07766 026863.
All conversations will be confidential but there may be occasions when I have to inform other agencies – I will not do so unless you are in agreement.
