Cashless Catering
Your child can no longerpay by cash for their meals in school – instead they will have a card which ‘stores’ their money and enables them to make their purchases in the cafeteria.
You can top up your card using either cash or cheque.
Top it up for any length of time.
Use your card to pay for your food in the cafeteria.
When your card has been swiped your photo appears on the screen! - which means that it is impossible for someone else to use a lost OR stolen card as it is personal to you!
Only YOU can use YOUR card with YOUR photo I.D on it!
Students entitled to free school meals automatically get their card credited – their card is exactly the same as everyone else’s card so no one can tell who is having a free meal entitlement.
There are 3 places around school where you can top up your card.
Parents can easily get information about whether their child is eating a meal at school – too many students leave the school site at lunchtime and regularly eat unhealthy meals or spend their lunch money on sweets, crisps and fizzy drinks.
We can send you details of exactly what your child is eating at lunchtime if you are worried about their eating habits or their diet.
